The Perkins County girls came away from their first track meet of the season with first place standings, edging out Gothenburg with just one-and-a-half points.

Ashley Kemling and Michael York each set new school records in their respective events of the 800 meter run and triple jump.

The boys team placed sixth against eight other schools.
