|Lee selected as March Senior of the Month|
Candace Lee has recently been selected as the Beta Sigma Phi March “Senior of the Month.”
Lee, a student at Perkins County High School, is the daughter of Barb and Kevin Hatch and the late Doug Lee.
Throughout her high school career, Lee has shown many interests in a variety of activities.
She has participated in volleyball and basketball for four years, has been a cheerleader for three years, a band and chorus member.
She has been involved in two fall musicals.
She has held the class office of secretary and was a member of National Honor Society.
She lettered in mock trial all four years, and was a scholastics winner four years.
In community service, Lee has served as a T-ball coach, youth basketball coach, and has helped with school music contests and fundraisers for Perkins County Youth Council.
She has also lectored at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, has been a 4-H member, and attended the Citizens Washington Focus trip.
She has been employed at Hatch’s Super Foods and Image Total Fitness in Grant.
After graduation in May, Lee plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and major in political science, specializing in pre-law, with a goal of attending law school.
For being selected as Senior of the Month, Lee’s picture will hang in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant and she will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.
The Student of the Month and scholarship program are sponsored jointly by Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Pinnacle Bank in Grant.
