PCS contributes to blood draw PDF Print E-mail

Tobin Buchanan, superintendent at Perkins County Schools, sets a good example for the student body, some of whom also gave at the recent American Red Cross Bloodmobile held at the New Life Fellowship Church on Feb. 15. Four first-time donors contributed to the 48 units of blood collected. Coordinators Deb Marshall and Vince Carrig were excited over the response received from the high school students. During the day, other donors received pins, including Kile Goodwin (two gallons), Doug Gaswick (four gallons) and Rick Roberts (six gallons). The Nebraska CattleWomen provided lunch and several volunteers contributed to the day’s success. They also presented cookbooks won by Pat Wilson and Lisa Behrends.
