|Kuskie selected as February Senior of the Month|
Jeannie Kuskie has recently been selected as the Beta Sigma Phi February “Senior of the Month.”
Kuskie, a student at Perkins County High School, is the daughter of Larry and Norma Jean Kuskie of Grant.
Kuskie has participated in golf all four years of high school, and was named to the North Platte Telegraph All-area golf team. She qualified for state all four years.
In addition, she has been a member of mock trial for four years, and has served as manager for the wrestling and basketball teams.
She was a cheerleader her junior year.
She has participated in band and chorus, and was selected to National Honor Society as a junior and senior.
In community service, Kuskie has mowed lawns for the elderly, has been a 4-H member and helped with the junior golf program.
Following graduation, she will be a foreign exchange student for a year.
She then plans to attend college and earn a degree in criminal justice, and become a CSI lab technician. She also hopes to play college golf.
For being selected Senior of the Month, Kuskie’s picture will hang in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant and she will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.
The Student of the Month and scholarship program are sponsored jointly by Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Pinnacle Bank in Grant.
