Southwest Nebraska RC&D banquet set PDF Print E-mail

Southwest Nebraska Resource Conservation and Development  would like to invite everyone to their annual banquet Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Best Western Chief motel poolside area at 6 p.m. in Cambridge.
The theme for the evening will be “Building Bridges.”  Southwest RC&D works to build bridges between communities, counties and organization in Southwest Nebraska to strengthen the area regionally.  
The keynote speaker for the evening will be Jennifer Rogers from Senator Ben Nelson’s office. Rogers also has experience working with RC&D throughout Nebraska.  
Projects from 2009 will be highlighted including Household Hazardous Waste, Opening Doors, Republican River Restoration Partnership, Norris Prairie Arboretum, Tire Collections in Chase and Frontier Counties and Southwest Weed Management.  
Tim Smith will be the masters of ceremony for the evening.

Southwest Nebraska Resource Conservation and Development, Inc. is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization serving Chase, Dundy, Frontier, Furnas, Hayes, Hitchcock, Perkins and Red Willow counties since 1994.
The mission of the RC&D is to facilitate regional cooperation for the development and wise use of natural and human resources to improve the standard of living and quality of life of all residents in the area. Within their mission, they work in areas of soil and water conservation and management; rural, community and economic development; and promotion of our area as a wonderful place to live and work.
