Former cemetery board member speaks up
We were a cemetery board of six members, serving the community for the “good of the cause” to keep our nice cemetery in good graces, according to the rules.
Each of the members had served different terms. The chairman had taken care for 20 years or more and he is known to do his job 100 percent plus all the many extra unknown details he did, unknown to many.
One person wanted to defy the rules, and was denied by a vote of ‘no’ by the board.
However, he did exactly what he wanted to do, breaking the rules big time. Guess rules don’t count!
I like to serve for the good of cause. Right is right, wrong is wrong.
I was the oldest dude on the board— “there is snow on the mountain, but there is still fire in the furnace!”
