The annual Perkins County Health Services Foundation Golf Tournament raised $2,819.61 to help purchase a new ultrasound machine to be housed at the Grant Medical Clinic.
Fifty-six golfers participated in this event held at the Grant Golf Club last Sunday afternoon, Aug. 16. Participants consisted of 28 two-person teams with a scramble format. Tournament helpers were Audrey Mathes, Gloria Patrick, John Mathes, Roxie Lampmann, Nita McGreer, Dan Wallin, Tiffany Weber, Connie Pofahl and Val Foster.
Flight winners were as follows: Championship Flight–Ffirst: Troy Haenfler/Curt Richmond; second: Calvin Dahlkoetter/Taylor Lake; third: tie between David Engel/Brent Thelander and Zach Harris/Jeannie Kuskie. First Flight–first: Kevin Poppe/Brad Hays; second: Alan/Haenfler/John Long; third: Ron Lock (Holyoke)/Dan Miller (Imperial); fourth: three-way tie between Trent Patrick/Joe Heineman, Mike Long/Russ Jones and Gloria Patrick/Ron Patrick. Second Flight–tie for first and second: Charley Pankonin/Don Hamm and Tim Pofahl/Craig Clough. Tie for third and fourth: Janet Kuskie/Larry Bieker and Michael York/Kirk York.
Hole prize winners were Cary Perkins (Denver), Colton White, Shawn Cole, Michael York, Dan Miller, Zach Harris, and Mike Long.
