Technology, insurance and art highlighted at Chamber meeting

The Perkins County Chamber of Commerce meeting was held Thursday, March 16 at 12 noon at the Perkins County Senior Center. There were 16 members present.

First Dollar

Einspahr Tech Solutions’ owner Eric Einspahr was presented with his First Dollar during the meeting. 

Eric moved to Grant in 2021 and recenty started Einspahr Tech Solutions as a side business. 

Eric enjoyes working on computer game consoles and other electronics and thought a tech business would be needed and rewarding.

Business Spotlight 

Farm Credit Services of America in Imperial, McCook, and North Platte was in the Chamber’s Business Spotlight. 

The business has insurance, commercial and residential agents to help you with anything you need. 

Dawnya Dreiling, Penny Lee, Austin Thelander, Jennifer Tjaden, Amy Johnson, and David Vapenik from the Perkins County Area all work for the business.  

Community Focus

Studio 74 is working with the Perkins County Area Arts Council to have people learn hands-on crafts. Shari Friedel gave an update on the program during the Chamber meeting. 

Friedel also mentioned that March is student art month, and the gallery has had elementary and high school artwork on display. 

In other art related news, the Chamber announced its coloring contest winners. The winners are Quinn Williams, Kilee Laroche and Paisley Holmstedt. The winning entries will be at Country Supply for viewing. Thank you everyone for participating. You all did a great job! Other coloring contest entries will be placed in businesses around Grant. People are encouraged to stop by and see the kids’ pictures.

Biz Ad Lottery

Starting this month we had an advertising lottery drawing and the winner was Countryside Insurance. The business will have advertising in the Tribune-Sentinel’s business directory paid for by PC Chamber.

Easter Egg Hunt

Mark your calendars for the April 8th Easter Egg Hunt at the Grant City Park at 10:30 a.m. The Easter Bunny will be making a visit.
